A well-known domestic apparel brand with over 2,000 offline stores and a mature e-commerce platform, achieving annual sales exceeding 5 billion yuan. Specializing in men's and women's wear, children's clothing, and accessories with over 10,000 SKUs, it urgently needed to build an intelligent warehousing system to cope with the rapid changes in the "fast fashion" market and achieve efficient inventory turnover and fast order response.
The traditional warehousing model faced four major challenges: severe inventory backlog with turnover days exceeding 90 due to strong seasonality; low manual sorting efficiency (3,000 orders/day) with a 2% error rate for a large number of SKUs; inability to meet the "small batch, high frequency" shipping demands of fragmented e-commerce orders; and only 25% space utilization, unable to support rapid business expansion. An intelligent upgrade via an Automated Storage & Retrieval System (AS/RS) was urgently required.
